A new Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA), “Genomic Data Analysis Network: Genomic Data Analysis Center (U24 Clinical Trial Not Allowed),” is soliciting applications for highly collaborative Genome Data Analysis Centers that will form the Genomic Data Analysis Network. Applications are due Thursday, November 12, 2020, at 5:00 p.m. ET.

The National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) is encouraging investigators with diverse expertise in genetics, genomics, and data science to join the Impact of Genomic Variation on Function (IGVF) Consortium. Applications will be supported by funding opportunity announcements (FOAs), and investigators will be asked to develop a framework for systematically understanding the effects of genomic variation on genome function and how these effects shape phenotypes.

The issue explores the full range of ‘omics findings, from identifying biomarkers for diagnosing and treating cancer, to uncovering the mechanisms for disease.
