AACR Annual Meeting 2021: Week 2 NCI Data Science Event Sessions
Week 2 of the 2021 American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting takes place May 17–21, and we’d like to help you find and build your itinerary of NCI’s data science and data sharing presentations!

- NCI Consortia Initiative and Resource: Proteomics and Proteogenomics | May 17, 2021, 9:45–10:45 a.m. | This session’s speakers will discuss the CPTAC program and other NCI proteomic-centric initiatives. It will also address the data (i.e., genomics, proteomics, images) and resources (i.e., bioinformatic tools, assays, reagents) available to the scientific community. CBIIT Presenter: Erika M. - NCI-DOE Collaboration Capabilities: Forging Bridges between Cancer Research and High-Performance Computing | May 17, 2021, 1:45–2:45 p.m. | This session’s speakers will highlight and explain details of new technical capabilities, which include publicly released software, computational models, data sets and workflows, source code repositories, and an online clearinghouse for the newly developed data sets and models developed and released by the NCI-DOE Collaboration. - NCI Discussion: Meeting the Data Sharing and Analysis Demands of Cancer Research at the NCI | May 21, 2021, 1:45–2:45 p.m. | This session’s speakers will describe how the CRDC is supporting the data sharing demands of NCI-supported research including data submission, infrastructure and analysis, as well as data sharing policy.
