The NCI Cancer Research Data Commons (CRDC) is joining the ranks of the 23 international Global Alliance for Genomics and Health (GA4GH) driver projects. As a driver project, the CRDC will bring real-world data and experiences to guide the development of data sharing tools and standards.

NCI Announces the Launch of the NCI Proteomic Data Commons (PDC)

The PDC is a next-generation proteomic data repository within NCI’s Cancer Research Data Commons (CRDC) with corresponding genomics and imaging data sets to enable data access, analysis, and sharing for integrative research.

The functionality of the cancer data aggregator can be described as this: a user is currently on a data portal or application. That application will connect to the Cancer Data Aggregator through an API that allows users to query parameters for data sets. The aggregator then queries across the Cancer Research Data Commons, NCI Data Coordinating Centers, and other NIH repositories, aggregating data that matches that query. The data will return to the aggregator to be transformed through a common data model.

Submit a Proposal to Build the Cancer Data Aggregator (CDA) by February 18

Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research requests proposals to develop a query engine called the Cancer Data Aggregator (CDA). The CDA will allow users to aggregate data via queries across the Human Tumor Atlas Network, the NCI Cancer Research Data Commons (CRDC) nodes, and other Data Coordinating Centers and repositories with which NCI plans to interoperate.

Genomic Data Commons (GDC) Data Release Includes New Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC) Project Data

The NCI Genomic Data Commons (GDC) data release 22 is now available and includes data from the Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC) Glioblastoma Multiforme Discovery Study and CPTAC-3 miRNA sequencing data.

New proteomic and phosphoproteomic data from the Adult Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) Discovery Study are now available on the NCI Cancer Research Data Commons' Proteomic Data Commons (PDC).
