New Data in PDC: 213 Lung Cancer Cases

New Data Set

The NCI Cancer Research Data Commons Proteomic Data Commons (PDC) has new data from the Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC) and the International Cancer Proteogenome Consortium (ICPC) - Taiwan Lung Adenocarcinoma (LUAD) studies.

Led by CPTAC’s Drs. Michael Gilettte, D. R. Mani, Steven Carr, and Ling Ding, the study used a suite of molecular techniques to discover novel and clinically relevant biology across subtypes and stages. This data set uniquely includes an almost equal number of tumors from smoking- and never-smoking patients.

The release contains open-access proteomic data for 213 lung cancer cases obtained from the following:

  • Proteomic, phosphoproteomic, and acetylomics methods
  • Genomic and transcriptomics
