Senior IT Project Manager

Biography

As a senior Information Technology (IT) project manager, Ms. Star Kline coordinates the IT and audio-visual operations for all new and ongoing construction projects at NCI. She also leads the NCI IT Training program, which ensures NCI staff are well versed in using the latest applications and services. Ms. Kline began her NIH career in the Center for Information Technology (CIT) where she managed CIT’s Remedy help desk system and Aspect telephone system, served on the NIH Enterprise Directory project team, and led the communications effort for NIH’s Y2K program. While at the NIH Office of the Director, she was featured in Federal Computer Week for leading the federal government’s first effort to integrate workflow, digital signatures, and electronic records management. She previously worked for the Veterans Administration, the Social Security Administration, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health. Ms. Kline received her bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University.
