Ms. Sherri de Coronado is the lead for CBIIT’s Semantic Infrastructure (SI) team. The SI team provides guidance and resources to help the cancer research community and its collaborators describe their data in ways that make the information more understandable and compatible. Ms. de Coronado also serves as the federal lead for the newly launched NCI initiative, the Center for Cancer Data Harmonization, which will help meet the semantic needs of the Cancer Research Data Commons (CRDC). The CCDH will work with the CRDC repositories and data coordination centers to develop a harmonized model to promote analysis of data from across the CRDC. Ms. de Coronado earned her master’s in business administration from George Washington University, a master’s of science in biophysics and molecular biology from the University of Rochester Medical School, and her bachelor’s degree in physics from Brown University.
