Advancing Data Sharing through the Cancer Moonshot℠
Data sharing is the theme of this month’s Cancer Moonshot Seminar. Dr. Emily Boja from NCI’s Office of Data Sharing will moderate a discussion with Dr. Kai Tan, an investigator with the Human Tumor Atlas Network, and Ms. Liz Salmi, a patient advocate with the Participant Engagement and Cancer Genome Sequencing Network. They will discuss how Cancer Moonshot initiatives are advancing data sharing among the cancer research community.
The Cancer Moonshot Seminar Series showcases the progress of research from different Cancer Moonshot initiatives. Those initiatives were developed to support the 10 recommendations from the Blue Ribbon Panel report.
Dr. Boja is a scientific policy and program branch chief as well as a supervisory health scientist administrator in NCI’s Office of Data Sharing.
