Sixth Computational Approaches for Cancer Workshop
The Sixth Computational Approaches for Cancer Workshop (CAFCW20) is an interdisciplinary workshop in which subject matter experts—in areas such as cancer biology, data science, and computational science—share their insights and challenges to foster collaborations and future innovations that will accelerate progress in computationally and data-driven cancer research and clinical applications. NCI Director, Dr. Ned Sharpless, will deliver this year's keynote, offering insight on the role of high-performance computing (HPC) in both cancer and COVID-19 research. This year will also feature a special workshop topic titled, “Artificial Intelligence (AI) and High-Performance Computing (HPC): Overcoming Data Challenges in Cancer Research and Clinical Applications.”
CAFCW20 is being held in conjunction with SC20, the International Conference on High-Performance Computing, Networking, Storage, and Analysis.
