The Seven Bridges Cancer Genomics Cloud Summer Symposium 2021
During the first annual Cancer Genomics Cloud (CGC) Summer Symposium, Seven Bridges experts will present on how epigenomics, image processing using machine learning, and single-cell analysis can be enhanced through the NCI Cloud Resource CGC platform. As one of the NCI Cancer Research Data Commons’ cloud-based analytics platforms, the CGC provides cancer researchers access to a library of data sets and more than 1,000 tools and pipelines with which to work.
The symposium will feature three presentations:
- “Epigenomics on the Cancer Genomics Cloud: Enabling Scalable Analysis Using Cloud Computing” | Kicking off the symposium at 12:10 p.m. EDT, Dr. Jeffry Grover and Ms. Nevena Vukojicic will demonstrate the CGC’s capabilities to perform ATACseq and ChIPseq data analysis and also highlight how the CGC’s integrated Data Cruncher can be used to perform downstream analysis by combining multiple-omics data types to generate more comprehensive biological insights.
- “The SBG Image Processing Toolkit: Easy Image Classification With No Coding Needed" | Starting at 1:00 p.m. EDT, Mr. Soner Koc and Ms. Ana Stankovic will showcase a collection of various deep-learning, preprocessing, and utility tools and workflows on the CGC that enable researchers to perform image class prediction without performing any coding.
- “Using the Power of Cloud Computing To Scale Single-Cell Analysis With the CGC”| Starting at 1:45 p.m. EDT, Dr. Manisha Ray and Mr. Dalibor Veljkovic will demonstrate the suite of single-cell analysis tools available on the CGC, from primary processing to trajectory analysis.
Registration to the symposium is free and open to the public.
