Sequencing in Diverse Populations
This webinar, hosted by the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences' (DCCPS') Epidemiology and Genomics Research Program (EGRP), will feature Dr. Eimear Kenny presenting on sequencing in diverse populations.
This webinar is part of a series of webinars entitled "Sequencing Strategies for Population and Cancer Epidemiology Studies (SeqSPACE)." The purpose of this forum is to provide grantees and other interested individuals the opportunity to share lessons learned and practical information regarding the application of next-generation sequencing to cancer epidemiology studies.
Dr. Eimear Kenny, Ph.D., is founding director of the Center for Genomic Health, and associate professor of Medicine and Genetics and Genomic Sciences as well as the Icahn Institute for Data Science and Genomic Technology at Mount Sinai. She is a statistical and population geneticist by training, and she leads a multi-disciplinary team focused on solving problems at the interface of genetics, ancestry, and medicine.
