Pediatric Preclinical In Vivo Testing (PIVOT) Program: Advancing Targeted Therapies for Childhood Cancers
Join the Childhood Cancer Data Initiative (CCDI) community for a webinar on the NCI-funded PIVOT program, featuring Dr. Smith from NCI and Dr. Bult from The Jackson Laboratory. The PIVOT program uses data science tools and methods to evaluate targeted cancer therapies developed for adult oncology to determine if they have relevance to childhood cancers.
This webinar will focus on:
- PIVOT’s mission and history.
- lessons learned from 20+ years of preclinical studies in pediatric oncology.
- past and recent multi-modal omics characterization of human-in-mouse tumors.
- how to access relevant genomic and efficacy study data.
If you are an individual with a disability who needs reasonable accommodations to participate in this event, please email CCDIevents@mail.nih.gov by Tuesday, May 6.
This webinar is part of the CCDI webinar series, which highlights how to use CCDI’s web applications, platforms, and data, and gives attendees the opportunity to learn how to use available resources. Webinars will be recorded and made available for viewing post-event.
