The ProteomeXchange Consortium at 10 Years: Promoting FAIR Data for Mass Spectrometry-based Proteomics
Join Dr. Eric Deutsch as he presents "The ProteomeXchange Consortium at 10 Years: Promoting FAIR Data for Mass Spectrometry-based Proteomics” during the January Data Sharing and Reuse Seminar.
The ProteomeXchange Consortium’s goal is to:
- provide global data submission and dissemination pipelines involving proteomics repositories.
- encourage open data policies.
- promote data principles that are finable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR).
Dr. Deutsch will describe the growth, current state, and plans for the ProteomeXchange Consortium and its global members.
This webinar is part of the NIH Data Sharing and Reuse Seminar Series, which is hosted by the NIH Office of Data Science and Strategy. The monthly series highlights researchers who have taken existing data and found clever ways to reuse the data or generate new findings.
Dr. Deutsch is the principal scientist for the Institute for Systems Biology. His research activities include software development for the analysis and integration of data for systems biology research.
