Poster Session: “Large-scale Cloud-based Inference of Differential Breast Cancer-related Network Gene Between Patient Cohorts” at the Biological Data Science Virtual Meeting
Attendees of the fourth Biological Data Science Virtual Meeting can learn more about the Institute for Systems Biology Cancer Genomics Cloud (ISB-CGC) and see how novel cloud-based computing is helping researchers learn more about the BrCA gene and its link to breast cancer.
As one of the three NCI Cloud Resources within the Cancer Research Data Commons, the ISB-CGC offers researchers a cloud environment and a library of tools and pipelines for analyzing large amounts of data.
Investigators from NCI’s Development Therapeutics Program and the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences are leveraging these cloud resources to explore gene expression and somatic mutation data from The Cancer Genome Atlas breast cancer data sets.
To learn more about the findings of their exploration and the ISB-CGC, attendees are encouraged to visit the virtual poster and ask questions through the Slack Channel at any time during the meeting.
