Opportunities and Implications for IO Using AI and Digital Pathology
Join Drs. Anne Martel of the University of Toronto and Sandhya Prabhakaran of the Moffitt Cancer Center as they discuss the benefits and limitations of using both artificial intelligence (AI) and digital pathologic analysis in the field of immunotherapy. You’ll learn how the combination of these technologies can enhance pathologic analyses and facilitate scientific/clinical decision-making.
This webinar is part of the 2024 SITC-NCI Computational Immuno-oncology Webinar Series, which focuses on the application of AI in immuno-oncology. This is the third of nine free webinars to help individual research labs overcome computational challenges while analyzing and integrating different assay data throughout the immuno-oncology spectrum using AI. The annual series aims to educate early-career scientists, increase participants’ awareness of and engagement in NCI-supported Cancer Moonshot℠ Immunotherapy Networks, and fulfill the Blue Ribbon Panel’s goal of accelerating progress in cancer research.
Dr. Martel is a senior scientist for the Sunnybrook Research Institute at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Prabhakaran is an applied research scientist with the Integrated Mathematical Oncology Department at the Moffitt Cancer Center.
