NCI Junior Investigator Annual Meeting
Are you a recent or late-stage graduate? Perhaps you’re a postdoc or a faculty member in the early stages of your career? Even if you’re finished with school, you can still gain a lot of knowledge by networking with other NCI junior investigators. Stay on top of your field by attending this upcoming 2-day virtual event at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Meet fellow researchers as they showcase their work and connect with people who share your research interests for future collaborations. You’ll meet an array of people who are using data-based approaches in cancer research, including experimental and systems biologists, physical scientists, data scientists, engineers, and computational modelers.
As a bonus, prior to the 2-day event, plan to attend a virtual meeting on August 10, at 2:00 p.m. ET, to learn tips on communicating science. In addition, a virtual poster session is scheduled for August 15, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. ET.
NCI programs collaborating on this meeting include the following:
- Big Data Scientist Training Enhancement Program (BD-STEP)
- Cellular Cancer Biology Imaging Research (CCBIR)
- Cancer Systems Biology Consortium (CSBC)
- Innovative Molecular Analysis Technologies (IMAT)
- Informatics Technology for Cancer Research (ITCR)
- Metastasis Research Network (MetNet)
- Patient Derived Models of Cancer (PDMC)
- Physical Sciences-Oncology Network (PS-ON)
- Synthetic Biology and Cancer Program (SynBio & Cancer)
- Cancer Tissue Engineering Collaborative (TEC)
