Generalist Repository Ecosystem Initiative Workshop
Are you a researcher, NIH-funded principal investigator, or data sharing support staffer who is attending the upcoming Generalist Repository Ecosystem Initiative (GREI) Workshop? If so, plan to attend the presentation from NCI CBIIT’s Office of Data Sharing Director Dr. Jaime Guidry Auvil. She’ll present on data sharing and generalist repositories in the data sharing landscape. Her presentation will be on the second day of the workshop.
The GREI Workshop is a 2-day virtual event featuring keynote speakers and panel discussions on open data.
Topics will include:
- data management and sharing.
- NIH data ecosystems.
- data discovery within repositories.
There will be interactive training sessions during the workshop. You’ll also have the chance to give feedback on future GREI work.
As the director of NCI CBIIT’s Office of Data Sharing, Dr. Jaime Guidry Auvil and her team lead NCI’s approach to the development and implementation of data sharing and public access policies. To better advise NCI programs and leadership on cancer data policy matters that are significant to the larger research community, she serves on several NIH, federal, and international advisory committees. Currently, she is the co-lead of the Data Use and Research Identity workstream for the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health.
