GDC Open Office
As the genomic data-specific repository within NCI’s Cancer Research Data Commons, the Genomic Data Commons (GDC) provides the cancer research community with a unified data repository that enables data sharing across cancer genomic studies in support of precision medicine.
The GDC allows access to data from 67 projects, over 23,000 genes, and more than 3.28 million mutations. Data are processed using GDC Bioinformatics Pipelines and are made accessible for download and analysis through the GDC Data Portal, the GDC Data Transfer Tool, and the GDC Application Programming Interface.
This upcoming webinar provides a forum for cancer researchers, bioinformaticians, and data providers who have questions about GDC data, processes, and tools.
Dr. Bill Wysocki is the director of user services at the University of Chicago.
