Envisioning a Future Toward More Equitable Trials: Artificial Intelligence and Its Implications in Health Equity

September 09, 2024 - September 10, 2024

If you’re researching multiple myeloma (MM), you’re likely well aware that certain ethnic/racial minorities have a higher incidence of MM but are far less likely to be represented in clinical trials.

NCI’s Deputy Director for Data Science and Strategy, Dr. Warren A. Kibbe, will describe ways technology can help address these disparities in an upcoming panel discussion, “Envisioning a Future Toward More Equitable Trials: Artificial Intelligence and its Implications in Health Equity.”

The panel is part of a 2-day event, “Improving Equity and Inclusivity in Multiple Myeloma Clinical Research,” hosted by the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF).

Warren A. Kibbe, Ph.D., FACMI

Dr. Kibbe serves as NCI’s Deputy Director for Data Science and Strategy.
