A Conversation with NIH: Implementing the New Data Management and Sharing (DMS) Policy, Part 1
Cancer research intramural investigators (new, early, or experienced) and grantees—consider registering for the first of a two-part webinar series that will discuss the anticipated 2023 NIH Data Management and Sharing (DMS) Policy. During the first part of this series, experts from NIH’s Office of Science Policy (OSP) and Office of Extramural Research (OER) will address the following:
- DMS policy expectations
- Applicability of the policy
- How to prepare a Data Management and Sharing Plan
- Considerations for responsibly sharing data
The second part of this series (scheduled for September 2022) will address additional details of the policy, including privacy protections for data from human participants and justifiable limitations on sharing data. Further details to come.
