Celebrating 5 Years of the Blue Ribbon Panel Report: Reflections, Progress, and Potential of the Cancer Moonshot℠
NCI Director Dr. Ned Sharpless, NCI Deputy Director Dr. Dinah Singer, and co-chairs and members of the Blue Ribbon Panel (BRP) will reflect on the BRP’s recommendations, share progress, and discuss future directions and potential for Cancer Moonshot℠ Initiatives.
As one of the research recommendations is to build a National Cancer Data Ecosystem, data scientists and researchers are encouraged to submit their questions to the panel discussion that will take place during the event.
The Cancer Moonshot aims to accelerate progress in cancer research by making more therapies available to more patients while also improving our ability to prevent cancer and detect it at an early stage. The goals of the Cancer Moonshot are to accelerate scientific discovery in cancer, foster greater collaboration, and improve the sharing of data.
