AI, Machine Learning, Systems and Spatial Biology in Oncology Conference
Attend this conference on artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, systems and spatial biology in oncology to hear speakers, including NCI’s Dr. Jill Barnholtz-Sloan, discuss the future of cancer research and treatment. The last day to register is April 16, 2023. There is no cost to attend this conference.
Dr. Barnholtz-Sloan’s session will be a remote talk. She will discuss insights from NCI on leveraging data for cancer discovery and impact.
Other topics at the conference include:
- AI-driven drug development.
- big data and clinical discoveries.
- using multi-modal patient data in precision oncology.
Dr. Barnholtz-Sloan is the associate director of the informatics and data science program. She leads efforts at CBIIT to shape informatics and data science strategies and foster collaboration across the cancer research community. She is pursuing a research agenda in descriptive epidemiology and etiology of brain tumors as a senior intramural investigator in NCI’s Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics Trans-Divisional Research Program. As both an active researcher and administrator, she has insight into how to translate data into real-world solutions to help diagnose, prevent, and treat cancer.
