CIRP is a trans-NIH initiative aimed at optimizing quantitative imaging methods for precision medicine in preclinical and clinical trial settings. Currently funded co-clinical trial projects are examining different tumor types, therapies, and imaging modalities.
Each project includes four basic components: animal models (i.e., GEMMs or PDXs), co-clinical therapeutic trials, quantitative preclinical and clinical imaging methods, and informatics for supporting web resources.
