Poster Session: “Multi-omics Data Integration in the Cloud: Analysis of Statistically Significant Associations Between Clinical and Molecular Features in Breast Cancer” at ACM Conference on Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, and Health Informatics
The Institute for Systems Biology-Cancer Genomics Cloud (ISB-CGC), one of the three available NCI Cloud Resources, will present a virtual poster at the 11th ACM Conference on Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, and Health Informatics. The poster will outline how researchers can leverage the data and tools within the NCI Cloud Resource to identify novel associations between clinical outcomes and the molecular, genomic, and proteomic features of breast cancer.
As an NCI Cloud Resource, the ISB-CGC provides researchers online access to the rich data sets stored by the NCI Cancer Research Data Commons. Leveraging the Google BigQuery tables available through the ISB-CGC, the study was able to increase the processing speeds of vast amounts of data and compute statistical associations between the clinical features and protein/RNA expression of the breast cancer data.
The poster will be available virtually during the conference.
