Overview of Two SEER/CMS Patient Survey Data Resources at NCI: A Fireside Chat for New Users

Here's your chance to learn about two Surveillance Epidemiology and End Results (SEER)-linked patient-centered cancer data resources, the Medicare Health Outcomes Survey (MHOS) and the Medicare Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS). These resources feature survey data available to the investigator community and provide opportunities to analyze Medicare beneficiaries' experiences at various stages of the cancer care continuum.

In this webinar, presenters from NCI's Outcomes Research Branch will showcase recently updated linkage numbers and research highlights. Drs. Roxanne Jensen and David Eton, the scientific leads of these data resources, will also discuss the application process, from generating a research idea to final project approvals.

No experience with SEER-MHOS or SEER-CAHPS is required. Participants can submit questions via email in advance of the webinar by Monday, September 18, 2023.
