NCI Office of Data Sharing Webinar: Navigating Data Access and Best Practices
Mark your calendar for the upcoming NCI Office of Data Sharing (ODS) inaugural webinar, which will focus on extensive data sharing practices and reuse aimed at helping the entire cancer community. Join us to explore key topics such as:
- ODS’ mission and objectives,
- best practices for accessing controlled, NCI-supported data sets,
- a demo of the Index of NCI Studies, and
- updates on the new NIH security guidelines going into effect on January 25, 2025.
Drs. Jaime Guidry Auvil, Freddie Pruitt of ODS, and Mr. Zachary Dorman from NCI’s Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research will lead the discussion. This is the first event of a new data sharing webinar series from ODS.
Mr. Dorman is a technical project manager for the Center for Technical Operations Support at NCI’s Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research.
Dr. Guidry Auvil is the director of NCI’s Office of Data Sharing.
Dr. Pruitt is a health science administrator for NCI’s Office of Data Sharing.
