Machine Learning in Genomics: Tools, Resources, Clinical Applications, and Ethics Workshop
The National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) Data Science Working Group is hosting this 2-day workshop to bring together members of the genomics and machine learning (ML) research communities. Discussions will examine the opportunities and obstacles underlying the application of ML methods to basic genome sciences and genomic medicine.
This workshop will include a combination of lectures from ML, genomics, and ethics researchers covering the full spectrum of genomics across basic and clinical research. The workshop will also focus on the ethical aspects of ML applications to genomics data. All ML scientists, including those unfamiliar with genomics, are encouraged to attend.
Information about the agenda, speakers, and registration can be found on the workshop webpage.
