How is AI Transforming Oncology Research and Care Delivery? Panel Discussion
Are you attending the Bio-IT World Conference & Expo next week? If so, join our Associate Director for Informatics and Data Science Dr. Jill Barnholtz-Sloan and other fellow experts in cancer bioinformatics and research during the panel discussion, “How Is AI Transforming Oncology Research and Care Delivery?” on May 4. They will explore the current applications, pitfalls, and future directions for applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in oncology.
Learn more about cancer data science by attending any of the discussions in Track 7: Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Oncology, Precision Medicine, and Health. Given the large number of patients diagnosed with cancer and significant amount of and variety of data generated during cancer treatment, there is an increased focus in the application of AI to improve cancer research and care.
See the event webpage for details on the conference agenda and registration.
Dr. Barnholtz-Sloan is the associate director for the Informatics and Data Science Program at NCI CBIIT and a senior investigator for NCI’s Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics.
