Apply the CURATE(D) Model for Data Curation
In this interactive workshop, cancer researchers and information professionals will learn how to appraise and prepare research data for sharing through the Data Curation Network CURATE(D) model.
Attendees will:
- increase their understanding of data curation practices to make data more Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR).
- apply the CURATE(D) model to a data deposit.
- meet like-minded colleagues interested in developing or enhancing curation practices at their institutions.
Come prepared to participate!
The Data Curation Network event series provides new approaches, methods, and best practices on management, curation, and sharing to promote transparency, reproducibility, and reuse of research data. The NIH Office of Data Science and Strategy and the National Library of Medicine are the series organizers.
Ms. Yee is the senior data catalog coordinator at New York University Health Sciences Library.
Ms. Kalt is a data management consultant at Johns Hopkins University Sheridan Libraries.
Ms. Hunt is a public health librarian and data curation specialist at the Health Sciences Library, University of Minnesota.
