NCI’s Office of Cancer Clinical Proteomics Research Seeks Data Science Program Officer

NCI’s Division of Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis is recruiting a data science/data management program officer for the Office of Cancer Clinical Proteomics Research (OCCPR).

This full-time position will manage contracts that support proteomics data management activities for OCCPR’s Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC), International Cancer Proteogenome Consortium (ICPC), and the Applied Proteogenomics Organizational Learning and Outcomes (APOLLO) network.

Responsibilities include coordinating with extramural investigators and collaborators and overseeing both OCCPR’s Proteomics Data Coordinating Center and NCI’s Proteomic Data Commons—a repository of the Cancer Research Data Commons—in coordination with NCI CBIIT. Expertise in database infrastructure and scientific data management is preferred, and outstanding written and oral communication skills are essential.
