NCI Funding Opportunities for Measuring the Validity of Currently Existing Digital Health and AI/ML Technologies
NCI and other NIH Institutes and Centers are looking to encourage research that examines the validity, reliability, and utility of digital health and artificial intelligence/machine learning technologies that are currently (or have the potential to be) used for:
- cancer risk assessment;
- cancer screening;
- early detection and prevention;
- cancer diagnosis and treatment; and
- cancer control and epidemiology, which includes assessing cancer incidence, prevalence, prognosis, survival, and health disparities.
You can apply for NCI funding to support validation of these technologies for cancer research.
Refer to this Notice of Special Interest (NOSI) for a list of appropriate NCI research topics as well as a table of funding opportunities that can be used for submitting an application in response to this NOSI. Before you apply, consider contacting Dr. Dana Wolff-Hughes to discuss alignment with NCI priorities and requirements.
