NCI and other NIH Institutes and Centers are looking to encourage research that examines the validity, reliability, and utility of digital health and artificial intelligence/machine learning technologies that are currently (or have the potential to be) used for:

• cancer risk assessment;
• cancer screening;
• early detection and prevention;
• cancer diagnosis and treatment; and
• cancer control and epidemiology, which includes assessing cancer incidence, prevalence, prognosis, survival, and health disparities.

You can apply for NCI funding to support validation of these technologies for cancer research.
