The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Office of Data Science and Emerging Technologies (ODSET) Data Science Fellowship 2020 Announced

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Office of Data Science and Emerging Technologies (ODSET) is recruiting the 2020 cohort of fellows for its Emerging Leaders in Data Science Fellowship Program.

NIAID has established this program to develop a cadre of talented data scientists with a strong interest in applying their bioinformatics and data science expertise to advance research on infectious and immune-mediated diseases. Research participants in the NIAID Emerging Leaders in Data Science Fellowship Program will receive training and hands-on experience in applying and managing big data sets, bioinformatics strategies, and tools to support projects in NIAID's extramural and intramural divisions. Appointments will be for one year, with an option to renew for a second year.

Candidates should possess a master's or doctoral degree (received within the last 60 months) in the following disciplines: Computer Sciences, Engineering, Life Health and Medical Sciences, Mathematics, and Statistics.
