Genomic Data Commons (GDC) Data Release Includes New Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC) Project Data
The NCI Genomic Data Commons (GDC) data release 22 is now available and includes data from the Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC) Glioblastoma Multiforme Discovery Study and CPTAC-3 miRNA sequencing data.
Complementary proteomic and phosphoproteomic data and clinical data can be found at both the CPTAC Data Portal and the Proteomic Data Commons (PDC). Imaging data are also available at The Cancer Imaging Archive (TCIA).
CPTAC has provided the GDC with genomic data from more than 600 cancer patients with diverse disease types, including lung adenocarcinoma, endometrial, renal, breast, colon, and ovarian cancers. The GDC harmonized DNA sequences from CPTAC whole-genome sequencing (WGS), whole exomes sequencing (WXS), and RNA sequences with the GRCh38 reference genome using GDC DNA-Seq analysis pipelines and mRNA analysis pipelines, respectively.
The CPTAC harmonized genomic data are available in the GDC Data Portal. CPTAC makes proteomic data that are processed through the CPTAC Common Data analysis Pipeline (CDAP) available in the CPTAC Data Portal.
