Build Your Biomedical Data Science Career with NIH CARD’s New Fellowship Program
Here’s your opportunity to earn a Master of Professional Studies (MPS) degree in data science while receiving a full stipend to work at the NIH Center for Alzheimer's and Related Dementias (NIH CARD), a collaborative initiative between NCI’s sister institutes—the National Institute on Aging (NIA) and the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS).
In this fellowship program, you’ll use data science tools and methods to explore the genetic architecture of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD). Apply to:
- gain foundational knowledge of data analysis and management.
- work with real data (curated at CARD) that’s designed to help researchers and clinicians better understand and treat ADRD.
- collaborate with CARD experts studying ADRD from many different angles: genetic engineering, DNA sequencing, protein analysis, robotics, brain mapping, data science, and more.
- earn a paid MPS degree and a stipend to work at CARD or a partner institution.
This fellowship is a two-year program administered across three cohorts in partnership with University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and the Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences at NIH.
