Webinar on Draft NIH Policy for Data Management and Sharing and Supplemental Draft Guidance
On Monday, December 16, Acting NIH Chief of Staff and Associate Director for Science Policy, Dr. Carrie Wolinetz will present an informational public webinar on the Draft NIH Policy for Data Management and Sharing and Supplemental Draft Guidance. The purpose of this webinar is to provide information on the draft policy and answer any clarifying questions about the public comment process. Public comments will NOT be accepted via the webinar but must instead be submitted online by January 10, 2020.
Please note that pre-registration is not available for this webinar. In addition, you must both join the Webex (available through the join button) to view the presentation and dial the call-in number and passcode (listed above) to connect your audio to the presentation. International participants can also use a toll-free call-in number listed on the NIH Office of Science Policy website.

Carrie D. Wolinetz is the acting chief of staff, as well as the associate director for science policy and director of the Office of Science Policy (OSP) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). As leader of OSP, she advises the NIH Director on science policy matters of significance to the agency, the research community, and the public, on a wide range of issues including human subjects protections, biosecurity, emerging biotechnologies ranging from stem cells to gene editing, data sharing, regenerative medicine, the organization and management of NIH, and the innovation polices related to NIH-funded research.
