Share Feedback on NCI’s Imaging Data Commons

Updated Interview Dates

There's still time to let us know how to improve NCI's Imaging Data Commons for your cancer research and data science needs. Volunteer to share feedback by Friday, August 12.

If you or your colleagues work with large, structured, queryable imaging data sets and related tools, we would like to meet with you to get feedback about the NCI Imaging Data Commons (IDC) data portal (imaging.datacommons.cancer.gov). As the medical imaging-specific component within NCI’s Cancer Research Data Commons, the IDC provides online access to more than 11 terabytes of DICOM standardized cancer imaging data along with high-performance analysis tools.

No prior experience is required to share your thoughts on the IDC, but we are interested in speaking with the following specialists:

  • Cancer biologists
  • Medical imaging experts
  • Cancer bioinformaticians
  • Data scientists
  • Software/tool developers
  • Program administrators

For those interested, we will schedule interviews between August 15–19, 2022. Each participant will work with a moderator in a one-on-one remote interview that will last 60 minutes. Participants will receive an honorarium for their time. Due to federal regulations, NCI staff, contractors, trainees, interns, and fellows are not eligible for an incentive.
