See What’s New in the Childhood Cancer Data Catalog

NCI’s Childhood Cancer Data Initiative (CCDI) released new resources to its Childhood Cancer Data Catalog (CCDC), including the addition of the database of Genotypes and Phenotypes (dbGaP). You can now access dbGaP’s available pediatric data sets in one convenient place. We’ve highlighted key details to assist you in your pediatric cancer research.

Now available in the CCDC: it’s the database of Genotypes and Phenotypes (dbGaP)! This update provides access to various types of childhood cancer data, including:

  • 3 bone cancer data sets.
  • 1 multi-cancer type data set (including brain, liver, and others).
  • 1 liver cancer data set.
  • 1 brain cancer data set.

For more information on additional updated resources and new catalog enhancements, see the release notes on the CCDC website. Details including glossary updates, moved data sets, and more are available for review.

As members of the cancer data science community, your input helps ensure the CCDI Data Catalog contains the latest resources. Consider sharing your childhood data collection, program, project, repository, or tool with the community. If interested, download a resource summary form, and email it to the NCI Childhood Cancer Data Initiative.
