The NCI Center for Cancer Research’s (CCR’s) HIV and AIDS Malignancy Branch (HAMB) is recruiting a staff scientist with expertise in bioinformatics and computer science.

The ideal candidate should have the following skills:
- A strong background in computational skills is essential such as familiarity with Unix OS; programming languages such as R, Python, and Perl; biostatistics; machine learning; and algorithms.
- Some background in translational biology is necessary.
Analysis responsibilities may include bulk and single-cell transcriptomics, whole genome sequencing, high-parameter flow cytometry, and multi-omics data integration. You may also need to use existing bioinformatics pipelines or develop modified computational approaches.
