FragPipe-Analyst: A Tool for Statistical Analysis and Proteomic Data Visualization

You can now access a tool for working with the mass spectrometry-based proteomic data you process using the FragPipe computational pipeline. Thanks to the work of Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC) researchers from the University of Michigan and researchers from Monash University (Australia), you can conduct downstream statistical analysis and proteomic data visualization with FragPipe-Analyst (FP-A). CPTAC, part of the NCI Office of Cancer Clinical Proteomics Research, analyzes tumors at the molecular level and shares the data publicly to help doctors and patients understand cancer at a molecular level, which can lead to better effective treatments.

Benefits of Using FP-A

  • You can count on this web-based tool being easy to use and up-to-date.
  • You may directly upload FragPipe-generated files from various quantification workflows.
  • You can conduct downstream analysis and data visualization all in one application.

Downstream Processing Features of FP-A

  • Differential expression analysis
  • Enrichment analysis
  • Data imputation
  • Data visualization

FP-A also has a companion program called “FragPipeAnalystR.” FragPipeAnalystR is an R package with the same functionality as FP-A, as well as some advanced modification capabilities.
