Discover ITCR’s Connectivity Map: A Visual Diagram Depicting Informatics Tools and the Relationships Between Them

NCI’s Informatics Technology for Cancer Research (ITCR) program funds a wide variety of tools designed to serve the informatics needs of the cancer research community. Check out the ITCR Connectivity Map for a detailed illustration of these informatics tools, how they are connected to each other, and which ones may be appropriate for your research!

Tools that were most recently added (Fall 2021) to the connectivity map include:

The ITCR Connectivity Map was originally conceived during the 2017 ITCR Annual Meeting and is currently maintained by the Network Data Exchange (NDEx) Project, a project supported by an ITCR award. The map is a network diagram; tool connections/collaborations are illustrated as colored lines while the tools themselves are depicted as ovals. Larger ovals (i.e., Bioconductor, OpenCRAVAT, CIVIC, Galaxy, etc.) are tools that provide core services that can be broadly used by other resources.
