Computer and Data Scientists—Apply by Friday for 2021 Virtual Innovation Lab: “Modeling Emergent Cellular Behavior in Cancer”
On February 25-26 & March 1, 2, and 5, 2021, NCI is hosting the 2021 Virtual Innovation Lab: “Modeling Emergent Cellular Behavior in Cancer.” This virtual workshop will bring experts together from a wide variety of fields to form new collaborations, ideate, and refine new projects related to dynamic cell-cell communication and emergent cellular behavior. Participants will have the opportunity to:
- contribute to a white paper aimed at shaping the direction of this developing research area,
- collaborate around innovative ideas with investigators from different fields, and
- observe opportunities for project proposal submissions across NIH and Federal agencies.
Interested in participating? Applications are due by 3:00 a.m. ET (midnight PT) on Friday, December 11, 2020. Those encouraged to apply include but are not limited to researchers and clinicians at the principal investigator-level; cell and developmental biologists; systems biologists; evolutionary biologists; engineers; physical scientists; and computer scientists.
