NCI’s Division of Epidemiology and Genetics (DCEG) Biostatistics Branch is looking for postdocs interested in developing statistical methods to analyze data from cancer studies.

During this fellowship, you will leverage quantitative methods to better understand cancer etiology and improve public health.

Specifically, you will:

  • create new statistical methods to analyze various data types, including:
    • high-dimensional genetics and biomarker observations
    • data from electronic health medical records
    • environmental and spatial data
    • longitudinal and survival data
  • conduct predictive modeling and evaluate model performance
  • translate findings into public health applications
  • guide research projects to develop statistical and computational methods that eventually lead to publications
  • collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to build their methodological and collaborative research program

DCEG has multiple positions available. Your stipend is commensurate with training and relevant research experience.
