Whether you’re a post-baccalaureate, graduate student, or postdoctoral fellow, the iCURE program has a variety of awards for you. The program seeks applicants from underrepresented groups in the biomedical, clinical, behavioral, and population sciences to foster and sustain a diverse research community.

iCURE scholars receive a monthly stipend determined by education level, GPA, and relevant experience. If accepted, you’ll have the chance to work with NCI researchers, network, and receive both professional and career development support.

As an iCURE scholar, you can participate in research opportunities with these NCI divisions:

  • Center for Cancer Research
  • Center for Global Health
  • Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences
  • Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics

Previous iCURE projects have included advancing cancer outcomes through large-scale data analysis, leveraging bioinformatics to improve diagnosis and treatment of cancer, and other data science-oriented projects.
