Program Analyst

Biography

As a program analyst at CBIIT, Mr. Joe Longo is responsible for the Portfolio Management and Operations Support Program. He is also the service manager for CBIIT staff salaries, awards, and training support. Mr. Longo joined NCI in 2015, after he served 20 years in the U.S. Army, where he retired in the rank of Master Sergeant (MSG). During his Army career, MSG Longo served in the 1st Infantry Division, Vilseck, Germany, 5th Squadron, 15th Cavalry Regiment, Fort Knox, KY and the U.S. Army Recruiting Command. He is a recipient of two Meritorious Service Medals, five Army Commendation Medals, six Army Achievement Medals, six Army Good Conduct Medals, National Defense Service Medal, Army NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Army Overseas Service Ribbon and was as a member in the Excellence in Armor Program. While in the Army, he completed the Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Non-Commissioned Officers Course, Advanced Non-Commissioned Officers Course, Equal Opportunity Leaders Course, and Instructor Training Course. Mr. Longo earned his bachelor’s degree in human resource management from Columbia Southern University.
