The EVS 5.x version is currently still supported. However, this is scheduled to be decommissioned in 2011. Therefore, the EVS Team encourages migration to the current release of the EVS APIs listed above. Files from LexEVS version 6.0, 5.x and caCORE versions 4.2, 4.1, 4.0, 3.2.1, 3.1, 3.0.1.4, 3.0.1.3, 3.0.1, and 3.0 are made available for download from the EVS Archives. Note that the 4.x and 5.x License terms still apply.

!!! IMPORTANT NOTE !!! EVS 5.1 will be deprecated in January 2011 and retired in July 2015. Since there is no reverse compatibility, a migration effort is required to update to version 6.2.
